Tonight at dinner my oldest daughter was being a typical 11 year old (if you get my drift) and my younger daughter said "why is she like that?" My 7 year old son replied "because she's going through pooberty." Then my daughter asked "what's pooberty?" He then said in a very matter of fact tone, "it's where girls get all sassy, and boy's get their "man fur". Man fur? Just another typical conversation at our dinner table. ~Karlie

Man fur? Oh my gosh, what a little cave man!
Judging by our recent conversations, my theory is that kids decided that any hair that isn't on the scalp is 'fur'. My 4 y.o. came up with ANOTHER doozy (besides the one I blogged about) that is probably borderline appropriate to blog - so I haven't.
I think I'll be visiting your blog often! In your headline you quoted DC Talk...way cool! And I definitely relate to Boys and Clothes! I have 3 boys (2 children, one husband!) They are all impossible to clothe! I enjoy the read, keep it up!
I simply MUST meet your kids someday. This one had me cackling. Man fur. I'm dying.
Javamamma,
Do post it! I'm always up for a good laugh at someone else's expense!~Karlie
That cracked. me. up.
That is soooo hilarious!!
That is SSOOO funny!!! Where do these kids get these things from?
Ok, I searched for man fur on google and you'd have to go through a billion websites on fur coats and hats before anyone would ever find your post. I think you're safe :-)
Never heard of "man fun." That is just too funny!!!
Man Fur...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to have to use that one sometime! I love your kids!
This cracks me up!!!! I so love listening in on the conversations of my girls. Their interpretation of life is hysterical :)
That's priceless!
