8 Random Things About Me

I've been meaning to do this tag for quite some time, so here it goes...

1. Sometimes... I eat chips and chocolate for breakfast...

2. I have this fantasy of being a worship leader, but I have no singing talent whatsoever. Don't we always want the gifts we didn't get? Anyway, I love crazy loud worship, I'd probably get myself into trouble (which consequently IS one of my gifts)

3. I like grouchy old Republican men who say it like is, even if I don't always agree 100%. It's nice to hear someone NOT afraid to be politically incorrect.

4. I love hippie dresses, Indian food, and blue grass.

5. I'm obsessed with lip gloss...

6. I moved out of my house when I was 16.

7. I write poetry and music

8. I have 10 loads of laundry waiting for me as I write this, and my husband is out of underwear.

Hi K-

You are very welcome for the prayer, I apologize for the spelling mistakes...as I reread it (after, duh it pays to proof read BEFORE you hit the submit button!)
I was thinking, 'man' I hope she knows what I meant ;-)

I have been praying for you and your dad all day. Please let me know if I can pray more specific or if you see any changes in him. I am believing for a miracle- for you and for him.

I feel for you with the 10 loads of laundry...I am great at sorting, washing, drying...but am slow on the draw at putting it away. I am awful with bleach...honestly I shouldn't even buy it, as it is one catastrophe after another! Honestly I think I should call it quits and just wear everything dingy...it would be alot safer...LOL ;-)

Glad God has brought us together!

hugs;

come and meet us, I love new friends!

In regards to #8: Are you not doing laundry on purpose? :o)

Hi! I'm out and about on reading blogs tonight although I should be cooking supper. I'm so sad you have moved! I will try to make it over to read. Oh, your picture makes you look like a movie star (I don't know her name--but the museum guide in Night at the Museum)--BEAUTIFUL!
On the blog about your father; I can only imagine how you must have felt. But never give up praying. My husband's father was an alcholic and they prayed for almost 20 years and one day he decided to go to church & then became a Christian. Shortly after his conversion he became dehibilitated. He died before I ever met him (about 15 yrs ago). My husband does miss him but rejoices that he will see him in heaven. He always tells people with lost family to never give up praying! I hope that is encouraging in some way! God Bless!

Not doing laundry on purpose- 10 loads of laundry sounds normal to me! I love your list! We have a lot in common.

I know what you mean about the laundry. I have a wonderful washing machine that washes 3 loads at once and has a cool clear glass top. BUT...it never folds or puts any of the laundry away ;p We have clean underwear around here you just have to search 8 heaping baskets to find it. Cute list those are always fun to do.

I love your priorities... blog first, then laundry. My thoughts exactly! Moved out at 16? Wow. I'm guessing it had something to do with what you shared about your dad? Girl, it sounds like you have quite a story to share! Looking forward to hearing more of it! So...blue grass...like grass that grows? Music? Something to smoke? Favorite lip gloss brand? I bought my old stand-by last night but wondered if I should try something new.

Javamamma, No, I' don't withhold underwear on purpose. Just messed up priorities!

Cindy, For the record, I like blue grass music... not yard cover or dope. Very funny.

It's fun to see what I have in common with others!

Thanks for praying for my dh. I really appreciate it! Interesting list! I've heard the call, "Is there any underwear washed?" many times. Socks, too. What you need to do is teach the kids how to operate the washing machine. Mine will sort and put away their underwear and socks, though not without grumbling. At least they don't throw the underwear at each other anymore! Ain't life grand?

Gasp! I would never do #1. Well, I would never TELL anyone I did it! HA! I hate it when my hubby's out of underwear! :) Thanks for stopping by my place. Maybe I'll do a post soon on the "secret". :) Blessings.
